DOULA (n) : Different from a midwife, a doula is a trained professional who provides physical and emotional support, guidance, and advocacy during pregnancy, labor, and birth.

Doulas provide evidence-based, statistically proven care that improves outcomes for parents & newborns. As a part of our Parents As Teachers program, our doulas offer comprehensive support to families throughout their entire perinatal journey, from pregnancy to labor to the postpartum period. We also offer assistance with diapers, wipes, safe sleep supplies, and postpartum items as needed, as well as childbirth and lactation education. ​
