MEET GABBY
Gabby joined Berkeley County First Steps in 2024 as administrative & finance manager. This Summerville, SC native is responsible for enhancing our financial systems, maintaining budgets, creating a smooth flow of business, locating potential cost savings, and creating processes to maximize efficiency within our internal operations. "I discovered my passion for early childhood development when I was a young adult working as a preschool teacher," she says. "It was in this role that I realized just how much I enjoy being part of a child's success. Witnessing their growth was rewarding, but to see the benefits in all aspects of their lives was a blessing." Prior to joining us, Gabby served as an intern for the South Carolina Ports Authority and in a financial role for South Carolina Federal Credit Union. She has also volunteered for the Lowcountry Food Bank and Keeper of the Wild, a wildlife rescue nonprofit. Gabby holds a bachelor's degree in professional studies with a concentration in applied communications from the College of Charleston. |
