How it worksBEST PRACTICES IN PARENTING & EARLY CHILDHOOD HEALTHFor expecting parents and families with children ages 0 to 5, our Parents As Teachers program provides regular personal visits from a parent educator and group connections with other families with young children. We also arrange children's screenings and assessments to help identify any developmental concerns, and then connect families to outside resources they may need.

SPOTLIGHT
Home visits
Using a relationship-based approach, we customize learning experiences for each family and child. Personal visits with our certified parent educators average one hour for each child under age 5 in the home. Each visit focuses on parent-child interaction, child development, and family well-being, and is arranged according to the family's schedule.
